Incredible Robotic Arm, No iPhone Thank You

This is, by far, the most incredible robotic arm I've ever seen. You won't believe how lifelike it's movement is. Incredible. (The first four minutes is the introduction. Skip to 4:30 if you're impatient to see the arm in action)

No iPhone for me. Fuck the iPhone and get an iPod Touch.
The iPhone was never as high on my want list as it was for the mindless many... but yeah, I wanted it. No longer! The iPod Touch is out, as we all predicted.
REASONS I'D RATHER HAVE AN iPOD TOUCH:
1- I treat my phones roughly, but not my iPods. Having an iPhone means taking care of it.
2- I don't want to keep paying to have an iPhone. The monthly fees are not cool. I only pay for an iPod once; no monthly fees.
3- The iPhone can't replace an iPod, because it's more a phone than an iPod. My iPod can go for days before a recharge, but the iPhone needs to charge more often.

Sometimes, I get frustrated with Scrabulous, for not allowing me to use common words like: D.O.A. or Que. According to the rules of Scrabble: Acronyms or abbreviations, other than those that have been regularized (such as AWOL, RADAR, and SCUBA), are not allowed. Variant spellings, slang or offensive terms, archaic or obsolete terms, and specialized jargon words are allowed if they meet all other criteria for acceptability.

Long story short: If I can't use vulgar slang and other offensive words, how is it I can use the great granddaddy of them all?

Here's a great animation from the French

I really like the motion, and interesting run cycles, especially on the monkey.
It's always dangerous to have monkey's in short films, because there are a lot of animated monkeys out there, and you don't want to get swallowed up in the endless sea of the mediocre.
This short film is effective at overcoming the cliches that would have burried it. Way to go!

ARKHAM ASYLUM
Here's a short film by Miguel Mesas that won some awards. It's an adaptation of a graphic novel written by Grant Morrison, with Art by Dave Mckean.
An interesting choice they made was to separate themselves from other Batman fan-films by going for a very stylistic look. Since the art in the book was so surreal and intense, the filmmakers here have tried to emulate that visual style. I think that it's a very innovative fan film, and I commend the people who worked hard to make it.
